The cut of this dress is built around the idea of looping individual elements. The sleeves are connected by a long strip of fabric that appears continuous. It actually fastens with buttons, so it can be disconnected if desired. The corners of the collar turn into a long encircling ribbon. The skirt forms numerous “petals”, as the Ushatava design team calls the slits in a fabric sheet.
